PUBLIC PROFILE

Who are we?

Founded in 1953 by a group of volunteers, the Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged (CPOA) has over the years become “The Retirement Specialist”. Today with over 20 properties, including several upmarket and new developments, CPOA covers the entire spectrum of services for retirees, catering to both their independent living needs and later full frail care. CPOA aims to provide its residents with the highest standard of care in homely, secure and comfortable environments. Our healthcare facilities make provision for those in need of special care. Independence is encouraged by trained healthcare professionals and the quality of care in all the CPOA homes is of the highest standard. CPOA is a non-profit organisation overseen by the CPOA Board of Governors (BoG) and their elected Council of volunteers. The Governors are the official voting members of CPOA. The Councillors, elected from the BoG, oversee the operations on a regular basis. The BoG and the Council Members are chosen base
