PUBLIC PROFILE

Who are we?

The Centre for Economic Governance and AIDS in Africa (CEGAA) was founded in 2006 as a regional civil society organisation focused on attaining effective, rights-based and developmental health financing in Africa to enable a comprehensive response to HIV/AIDS. We provide training, capacity-building, research and advocacy services to and through community structures, government stakeholders and legislatures in support of an empowered civil society and skilled public servants. CEGAA is committed to assisting African states and organisations needing training and support for budget monitoring and expenditure tracking of health funding in general, and HIV/AIDS and TB funding in particular.
